O Costa2 é daqueles que parece saber tudo sobre tudo, desde que se siga o guião do Largo do Rato. Vai chegar longe, porque se farta de dar tenças a tudo o que mexe pela órbita de uma encapotada geringonça lisboeta. Porque há muitos aljubes sob a sua alçada.

Aparece sempre um destaque oportuno do estudo anual da OCDE a dizer que os professores portugueses isto e aquilo, são uns privilegiados que ganham que se fartam e tem montes de regalias. É mais do que evidente que um professor ganha mesmo mais do que outros profissionais com qualificações idênticas… até porque os professores, na sua larga maioria, tiveram de fazer formações pós-licenciatura. Estou mesmo a ver um médico com 30 anos ou mais anos de carreira a levar 1500 euros limpos para casa. Ou um advogado. Ou um engenheiro. Ou um economista, mesmo no mais falido dos bancos.
Mas mesmo que assim fosse, garanto que o mereceria e só tenho pena que estes estudos do Education at a Glance deixem muito a desejar em algumas comparações que fazem sempre com base numa tabela salarial e estrutura de carreira que são uma ficção. Adoro quando eles fazem aquela de colocar um professor com 15 anos de serviço a ganhar pelo 4º escalão, quando quase todos estão no 2º. Mas é o que fazem passar para a opinião pública.
E depois há coisas incompreensíveis, quando a tabela salarial é única para todos os níveis do Ensino Não-Superior. O que quer isto dizer?
E olhem que estes eram pela imunidade em manda… ou rebanho… ou lá o que é.
Concern over Covid-19 social distancing prompts rethink of higher education qualification
Sweden’s Council for Higher Education (UHR) has cancelled the autumn raft of bi-annual university entrance exams, the hogskoleprovet, known in English as the Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test (SweSAT).
The decision came after criticism from 21 Swedish university and higher education principals, who voiced their concerns in an editorial piece in the daily newspaper Svenska Dagbladet.
The academics argued that it would be unsafe to continue with the plans for SweSAT exams this autumn due to the risk of “cluster contagion” of coronavirus, as students would sit for hours in closed rooms. The professors represent higher education institutions that are responsible for holding the exams every year, once in spring and once in autumn.
O país teve os apertos orçamentais que se conhecem, tem muito menos casos confirmados e mortes por Covid-19 do que Portugal, mas parecem não estar a basear-se apenas no pensamento mágico no regresso às aulas para a semana (era para ter sido já ontem, mas por causa do aumento de casos foi adiado). Ao que parece, embora seja mais difícil em zonas urbanas, as turmas foram mantidas em 15-17 alunos nalgumas escolas, como aconteceu na reabertura durante o 3º período do ano lectivo anterior.
